Live in Zanesville and Enjoy Fishing and Hiking
Not only is the scenery breathtaking at Blue Rock, but there are plenty of recreational activities to pursue. Licensed Ohio fishermen that live in Zanesville know that Blue Rock’s Cutler Lake is the place to go for that big catch. These sportsmen compete with each other good heartedly for catfish, bass, trout and bluegill. After a few hours there may be plenty of stories and lots of laughter about the “one that got away”. Those who prefer not to fish can go for a dip in the lake. Daytime swimmers enjoy a 250 foot public beach located on the North Shore. Complete with amenities, there is a changing area, restrooms, lockers and a snack bar. Apart from the lake, campgrounds hold basketball and volleyball courts, playgrounds and horseshoe pits. There is even an archery range near the camp store for those who want to try their aim at the bullseye. Picnic tables are scattered throughout the area as well so bring a prepared lunch along or utilize one of the convenient grills and cook up some hamburgers and hotdogs.
