This vessel, moored at Zane’s Landing Park in downtown Zanesville, offers rides along the Muskingum River. This 104 foot long ship can carry 75 passengers and weighs more than 59 tons. All who live in Zanesville can go for a public ride, dinner cruise, lunch cruise, twilight cruise, charter, or plan an unforgettable birthday party or anniversary ride on the ship. Many special events also take place throughout the year for Zanesville property owners to take advantage of. Two upcoming events are “What A Crock” on Saturday,June 4th, and “Steer the Boat Day” on Sunday, June 5th. On June 4th, every rider will get a coupon from Ohio Pottery Norwich for 30% off as well as a free crock that can be picked up from the store on or before July 10th. Take a ride from either 2 to 3 p.m. or 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. On June 5th, each rider will have the opportunity to be the “Captain” and steer the Lorena. The rides occur on the 5th at the same times as the 4th. Stick around, or come back, for a performance by the Zanesville Memorial Concert Band at 7 p.m. at the Landing on June 5th.
