Credit scores are an important consideration in the process of getting a home loan. And while it may seem that credit scores are shrouded in fog and mystery, knowing what they are and how they could affect you is important to know. In my 15 plus years in the business I've seen it all, the good, the bad, and the ugly. The one thing I have learned in all these years is simple. Credit scores are a moving number, just as they can go down, they can also go up. Dings, blemishes and even a bankruptcy on your credit can be overcome. Some problems may take time and a plan to correct, but so what. Get informed, lay out a game plan to address the problems, fix them and buy that house. I have several lenders that will help do exactly that. They will review your overall credit situation and advise how to get in the position to buy a home. If home ownership is important to you, and something you really want, then don't let credit issues stop you. Lets find a way to solve those problems. I will be there throughout the process helping every step of the way.

The closing costs are too high......Not really!

There are some programs with little to no closing costs or, in some cases, the closing costs can be added in the loan which will reduce the actual amount of money you may need. For the other plans that do have some closing costs, I can ask the seller to pay the closing costs as part of the purchase agreement.

The houses I can afford will need a lot of work......Not true!

We have a great selection of homes in all price ranges and conditions. We will make sure the house you chose is sound from the basement to the roof. We accomplish this by having a very detailed home inspection done. This will give us a true understanding of the overall condition of the property and alert us to any major problems. I will write the purchase contract to allow us to terminate the agreement if a major problem is discovered during the inspection process. My job is to protect you.
